God wants all believers to know His will in their daily lives. Pray especially for young people who are seeking God's plan for their lives. May they be "strong in the Lord and in the power of His might" (Ephesians 6:10). As they seek to serve the Lord in different vocations, pray that they will "put on the whole armor of God" and that they "may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil" (Ephesians 6:11). |
The home is an integral part of the structure of society, and the home also is an important portion in the stability of the church. Jesus Christ spent a great deal of time in individual’s homes revealing the good news of salvation, healing people who were down-trodden, diseased or demon possessed, and dealing with situations with power and authority from God.
Slavic Missionary Service considers it a privilege to partner with missionaries who give Jesus Christ the preeminence in their lives and in their homes. Recently, the youngest son of the Bezas in Minsk, Belarus chose to take the next step in his Christian life. He was baptized, seeking to follow Jesus Christ in all areas of life. The daughter of the Korotashes in Bendery, Moldova has finished Bible College and is working as a nurse in her hometown. She plans on assisting the church more specifically in areas of outreach.
Also, the son of the Leonovs in Bryansk, Russia has finished his religious training and is now serving the church as the leader of the youth choir. He also assists the summer camping ministry with the Transfiguration Center, which ministers to homeless and underprivileged children. The three oldest sons of the Trots in Lutsk, Ukraine have finished their Biblical education and are now seeking the Lord’s guidance concerning ministry in their hometown and beyond.
Praise God for home Bible studies, home churches, home devotional times, home offices and home schools. How important it is for the entire family to worship God together, walk worthy in His ways and work as a unit to bring honor and glory to Him. Remember that Jesus encouraged the man that was healed of an unclean spirit who fled from his family for the tombs to “go home to your people, and report to them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He had mercy on you” (Mark 5:19).
