Let us not be pessimistic about the future! We labor together with God. His supreme purpose to ransom among the nations a remnant for His name will be realized. We are, therefore, more than conquerors through Him that loved us. Evangelization will continue until the Lord returns for His completed church.

May the devastating changes occurring in the word not deter us from faithful intercession for the witness of the church worldwide, nor from the support of missionaries called by God to share Christ with a world in need. “Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to Thee in a time when Thou mayest be found; surely in a flood of great waters they shall not reach him. Thou art my hiding place; Thou dost preserve me from trouble; Thou dost surround me with songs of deliverance” (Psalm 32:6-7).

Pray that our national missionaries will be greatly used of the Holy Spirit to declare and distribute the truth of the Gospel. Ask for special physical and spiritual protection as they labor for the Lord. Pray that Christian workers facing discouraging problems may realize afresh the vastness of God’s power at their disposal.

Supplication is requested by SMS national missionaries that God will guide them in the search of spiritual men and women who will become future leaders in the churches, colleges, seminaries and religious organizations in their respective countries.

Until the Lord returns, pray that ministries in the Slavic countries such as Christian conferences, summer camps and evangelical outreaches will be planned and accomplished in 2013.

Pray that governments opposed to the sharing of the Gospel will grant freedom for the distribution and declaration of the Word of God. Intercede for believers suffering persecution that the grace of God may be sufficient.

Beseech the Lord to give to Christian young people discernment to know and desire to do that which pleases Him. Pray for full spiritual equipment and enablement for young people in Bible colleges and seminaries preparing for the Lord’s work.

Churches in Oryol, Russia and Polotsk, Belarus continue to be built. Pray that funds will be received to complete these structures.

Pray that God’s children will have discernment to recognize the wiles of the devil and with God’s help resist any temptation. Pray that they may know the triumph of Christ in their daily lives. Pray that new converts to Christ may be faithful students of His word and grow in grace and knowledge.
